Right to repair directive timing of obligation - Honda MPP2 traction battery
For products incorporating LMT batteries, the Right to Repair consumer information requirement becomes applicable from 18 February 2027.

Products in scope
This information applies to Honda MPP2 lithium-ion traction batteries used in selected models, including EM1 e: and CUV e:.

Repairability
Honda MPP2 batteries are sealed units and cannot be safely dismantled or repaired. For this reason, repair is not offered and defective batteries are replaced.

Assessment and replacement process
If you believe your battery is defective:
- Contact your local Honda retailer
- The retailer will assess the battery condition
- If a defect is confirmed, a replacement battery will be provided

Indicative timing
- Assessment/diagnostic check with MCS: typically completed within [36 minutes]
- Replacement: typically completed within [6 minutes] following confirmation
